About Asset Desk

Asset Desk is built by Roblox developers, for Roblox developers: one toolkit that keeps every asset in your place working, so you can get back to building. From dev to dev, here is what we keep about you and why.

What we collect

Your Discord account

When you log in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar. We do not receive your email address or your Discord password. Discord login tokens are used once to read your profile and then discarded.

Your Asset Desk account

  • When you first and last used Asset Desk.
  • Your Premium status: redeemed keys and when your access ends.
  • The apps signed in to your account: a name for each, when it signed in and when it was last used, so you can see and sign out of them.
  • Website login sessions, so you stay signed in.

Usage needed to run the service

  • For daily upload credits: which asset IDs used a credit in the current 24-hour window.
  • For the Asset Downloader: the asset ID you ask for, so our server can fetch that file for you.
  • Totals across all users, such as the number of downloads and uploads, shown on our website without any personal details.

What we never collect

Your Roblox cookie and Open Cloud API keys stay in Windows Credential Manager on your own PC. The app uses them to talk to Roblox directly. They are never sent to Asset Desk servers.

We also do not receive the files you scan in Studio, your places or your Roblox password.

How we use it

  • To sign you in and keep your apps connected.
  • To give Premium access and the matching role in our Discord server.
  • To count daily credits and keep the service fair for everyone.
  • To fix problems and protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Discord: to sign you in and, if you agree at login, add you to our server and give your roles.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while you use Asset Desk. Credit records only cover the current 24-hour window. Database backups are kept for 7 days. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your data from the live database; it disappears from backups within 7 days.

Your choices

  • Sign out of any app from your account page at any time.
  • Remove your cookie and API keys from the app with Disconnect in Settings.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, through our Discord server.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top, and announce larger changes on Discord.
